Amanda West
(she/her)
Amanda is a nonprofit, government and political expert, having served in roles in both the Whitmer and Granholm administrations as well as lobbying and/or organizing for the Michigan Education Association, Michigan Humanities Council and Planned Parenthood Advocates of Michigan. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Illinois Wesleyan University.
She is a fierce advocate for sexual and reproductive rights and fights for a future where her two children and all youth can be free to make educated decisions regarding their bodies.

Harmon Lim
(they/she)
Harmon is a recent graduate and currently works as a Research Analyst of Medicaid Data and Health Equity at Mathematica Inc. As a counselor at the Berkeley Free Clinic, they delivered free HIV/Hepatitis testing, Hepatitis vaccination, and sexual health counseling.
Harmon strongly believes in youth's autonomy and power around their sexual and reproductive health, and strives to create the safe, nurturing space they didn't have as a young queer person.

Jessica N. Lumbreras

Jessica is a seasoned political organizer and advocate for public education, currently serving as a Member and Political Organizer for the Michigan Education Association. With over a decade of experience in Michigan politics and elections, she has played a key role in strengthening community engagement and increasing civic participation.
Jessica is passionate about empowering educators and working families to have a voice in the political process, helping drive major victories that shape education policy and support public schools. Active in local and statewide political organizations, she is dedicated to building stronger communities through advocacy and action.
She lives in Berkley, Michigan, with her husband, their two children, and their two dogs.

Kelsey Christian
(she/her)
Kelsey is a lifelong Michigander, a career advocacy professional, and a proud member of Gen Z.
Kelsey is currently serving as a Campaign Manager for a major statewide campaign. Previously, she was a Senior Campaigns Manager at All Voting is Local, a Political Director for Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, and in government relations roles at national and state levels.
Kelsey graduated from St. Cloud State University with a political science and international relations BA. She also was the captain of the women's soccer team.
Kelsey is thrilled to serve on the MOASH AF Board, as she is deeply passionate about empowering MI’s youth. Outside of work/advocacy, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her cat, Roomba, and her husband, Jim. You can also catch her at a good workout, a Red Wings game, or online shopping.

Laura Gardiner
(she/her)
Laura is the Director of Education at Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest, Hawai’i, Alaska, Indiana and Kentucky. During her eight years at PPGNHAIK she also managed the IN·clued Program, an evidence-based LGBTQ+-centered sexual health education program delivered across the United States. Prior to working in the field of sex education, Laura worked at the Los Angeles LGBT Center where she managed a voter persuasion deep canvassing program focusing on issues such as same-sex marriage, transgender-inclusive non-discrimination laws, and abortion access.
Laura relocated to the Midwest in 2021 and lives in Ann Arbor with her partner and their dog, Kaia.
