MOASH AF Board of Directors

Kelly Stec-Borden is a government relations and regulatory compliance advisor at Plunkett Cooney. Prior to this role, Kelly has worked at the Michigan Senate, Michigan House, Michigan Public Health Institute, Wyandotte Public Schools, and MOASH, where they served as the inaugural advocacy director.

In addition to Kelly's professional work, they are highly active in their community. Kelly is the lead organizer of Wyandotte Working Together, a coalition of nonprofits that works to raise funds for local causes. They also volunteer with the Wyandotte Jaycees, Wyandotte Public Schools Scholarship Foundation, VFW Post 1136 Auxiliary, Polish Roman Catholic Union Society 162, Wyandotte Goodfellows, Wyandotte Museums, Bacon Memorial Library, and First Congregational Church of Wyandotte's youth group. Kelly currently serves as the city's veterans liaison and representative to the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments. They were elected to Wyandotte City Council in 2021 and 2025 and has served as Mayor Pro Tempore in both terms.

When Kelly is not volunteering, she can usually be found creating something new in the kitchen, crafting, reading, or hanging out with her pet rabbit, Augie.

Divya is a Williams Scholar at Michigan State University pursuing dual degrees in Physiology and Psychology. She serves on MOASH's MY Voice Youth Council and is a member of the organization's Youth Advocacy Team, where she works to elevate young voices in conversations surrounding reproductive and sexual health policy. Beyond her work with MOASH, Divya is a Senior Fellow with the Joyce Ivy Foundation, supporting initiatives that expand educational access and opportunities for young women across the Midwest.

She is passionate about reproductive health equity, addressing disparities in women's health, and empowering young people to drive meaningful change in their communities and beyond.

Jenny Wein is an executive advisor serving federal and local governments and other public-serving organizations with their organization-wide technology adoption. Having gotten married too young and choosing not to have children, and experiencing and witnessing adolescents' struggles with their peers, Jenny joined the MOASH AF to help increase the quality and quantity of resources available for peoples' relationship desires.

Jenny has a Masters of Business Administration and Masters of Science in global sustainability from the University of Michigan and a Bachelors of Arts from Michigan State University. Outside of her work and volunteering Jenny owns and manages rental properties and she enjoys playing with her niece and nephew and creating habitat for native wildlife.

Laura is the Director of Education at Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest, Hawai’i, Alaska, Indiana and Kentucky. During her eight years at PPGNHAIK she also managed the IN·clued Program, an evidence-based LGBTQ+-centered sexual health education program delivered across the United States. Prior to working in the field of sex education, Laura worked at the Los Angeles LGBT Center where she managed a voter persuasion deep canvassing program focusing on issues such as same-sex marriage, transgender-inclusive non-discrimination laws, and abortion access.

Laura relocated to the Midwest in 2021 and lives in Ann Arbor with her partner and their dog, Kaia.
